This project depicts a lonely, abandoned cabin hidden in the mountains. I modeled the cabin in Blender, created the landscape and mountains using Gaea, and textured the cabin in Substance Painter. For added realism, I used textures from Megascans and optimized the geometry with Nanite.
The scene was assembled and rendered in Unreal Engine 5.4, with Lumen bringing atmospheric lighting and depth to life. My goal was to capture the feeling of abandonment and silence that surrounds the cabin, leaving room for viewers to imagine the stories behind this forgotten place.
